New to coding or still finding your way through the algorithms and functions? This is the group for you. We will develop understanding of some basic computer concepts in terms of computational and logical thinking. This group uses Scratch https://scratch.mit.edu/ and will focus on developing games and animations.
This class is aimed at children from 8 to 10 with little or no previous coding experience.
What is Code Inverness?
We are here to support our young people in the Highlands get excited about technology, whether they are just getting started on their journey or working on their own apps/projects we try to include something for everyone.
If you are 13 or under, then please make sure a parent or guardian is with you. If you’re 13 or over, then we will ask for details of an emergency contact person if they are not staying. Each ticket must be booked by an adult on your behalf. Both you and your parent should familiarise yourselves with the Code of practice.
What to bring
All equipment is provided but feel free to bring a snack and drink of water.
