All youth, parents/guardians and volunteers at our events are required to agree with the following terms. Organisers will enforce these rules throughout our events. We are expecting cooperation from all participants to help ensuring a safe environment for everybody. Participants violating these rules may be expelled from the event and future events at the discretion of the event Organisers.
Signing up to attend events beforehand is mandatory. This is to ensure safety and abide by venue capacity regulations. If you do not have a registration we reserve the right to not admit you. We sincerely wish to accommodate everyone but operate on a first come first serve registration basis.
Tickets will be made available on Eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/term-2-code-club-inverness-tickets-38700029831
We recommend that under the age of 12, students should be accompanied by a parent/ guardian. We suggest that parents stay in the event space and are welcome to not participate (but always have the option to).
We rely on hosting our events for free at the courteous UHI STEM Hub. Please be courteous and respectful of their space, clean-up after yourself and encourage others to do the same.
You can bring your own equipment if you are working on an individual project but we have screens and devices that can help you if you don’t have your own. Please be mindful of the equipment graciously lent to us for events.
Code Inverness is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds. Offensive language and imagery is not appropriate for any event. Be kind to others and above all; be cool!
